Mobile Device Management

Mobile device management — Hexnode, Microsoft Intune, Jamf & more

Unified endpoint management spans two genuinely different buying decisions: cross-platform UEM for fleets with a mix of iOS, Android, Windows and macOS devices, and Apple-only specialists for shops that never need to touch a Windows machine. Hexnode, Microsoft Intune and Jamf get full pricing sheets below; seven more vendors are shown as honest comparison cards.

Which model fits

Cross-platform UEM or Apple-only specialist?

Cross-platform UEM — Hexnode, Microsoft Intune, Omnissa Workspace ONE, ManageEngine, SOTI, Scalefusion, Miradore, IBM MaaS360

One console manages iOS/iPadOS, Android, Windows, macOS and often ChromeOS/Linux together — the right foundation for any fleet that includes Windows devices alongside mobile or Mac hardware. Breadth of platform support is the main differentiator between vendors in this group, not depth of Apple-specific tooling.

Apple-only specialists — Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle

Deep, native integration with Apple's own management APIs (zero-touch deployment, tight macOS/iOS feature parity on day one of a new OS release) in exchange for zero Windows support. The right choice for an all-Apple shop; the wrong choice the moment a single Windows device enters the fleet.

Sourcing & availability notice

Prices on this page and its vendor sheets are a mix of sourcing bases: Hexnode's and Microsoft's own published list prices, aggregator-observed pricing for Jamf (jamf.com/pricing is contact-sales-gated for Jamf Pro), and aggregator-estimated ranges for the seven hub-only comparison vendors, several of which publish no public pricing at all. Actual pricing, invoicing currency and product/SKU availability can vary by order volume, term length and issuing partner. Always confirm exact pricing with Brocent before purchase; nothing on this page is a quote.

Comparison cards only — no dedicated pillar page yet. Pricing shown is aggregator-estimated unless noted; confirm exact figures with Brocent.

Omnissa logo

Omnissa Workspace ONE

Rebrand of VMware Workspace ONE — same product, new company name.

$5.4–7.2 / user / month

If you're searching for "VMware Workspace ONE," this is it — Omnissa is the company VMware's end-user computing business became after being spun off. Contact-sales; range is aggregator-estimated.

ManageEngine logo

ManageEngine MDM Plus

Genuine on-premises deployment option, not cloud-only.

$1.28–2.38 / device / month

Range shown is for the cloud-hosted edition; ManageEngine also offers a genuine on-premises deployment for organizations that need device data to stay entirely on their own infrastructure.

SOTI logo

SOTI MobiControl

Rugged device / field-service / logistics specialist.

$4 / device / month

Structurally different buyer than a typical office-fleet MDM — SOTI's real-world footprint is rugged handhelds and scanners via Zebra, Honeywell and Datalogic hardware partnerships, not laptops and phones for knowledge workers.

Scalefusion logo

Scalefusion

Modern, MSP-positioned UEM with a real partner program.

$5 / device / month

Positions itself explicitly for MSPs through its Infinity Partner Program — a genuinely different go-to-market than the legacy enterprise UEM vendors in this list.

Miradore logo

Miradore

The budget / free entry point into cross-platform MDM.

$2.75–4.75 / device / month

Free up to 50 devices

The genuinely free tier (up to 50 devices) makes this the natural first stop for a small team that wants to try cross-platform MDM before committing budget, not just a lead-gen "free trial."

Kandji logo

Kandji

Apple-only challenger to Jamf, aimed at modern IT teams.

Contact sales — no public pricing found

kandji.io/pricing is fully contact-sales-gated with no published figures and no reliable aggregator-reported price found during research — treat as a genuine "request a quote" vendor, not an omission.

Mosyle logo

Mosyle

The cheapest Apple-only option found in this research.

$1–3 / device / month

Free up to 30 devices

A genuine free tier up to 30 devices, plus the lowest paid per-device range found among Apple-only vendors — worth a look for cost-sensitive all-Apple shops before Jamf or Kandji.

A word on MDM security posture

MDM/UEM platforms hold privileged control over every enrolled device, which makes vendor security posture worth vetting before you standardize on one — the 2024 Mobile Guardian breach (a different vendor, not one of the platforms on this page) is a real example of what's at stake when an MDM platform itself is compromised. Ask any vendor about their own security certifications and incident history before committing.
