Why Brocent in the UK

Honest about the model: remote-first, partner-delivered on site

Brocent has no UK legal entity or office. UK clients contract with Brocent's Hong Kong company or our Singapore headquarters, whichever suits your procurement, and delivery is coordinated from our Warsaw EMEA Regional Service Centre; day-to-day managed IT is delivered remotely by our offshore engineering teams; and when something needs hands on a keyboard in London, Manchester or Edinburgh we dispatch a vetted local freelance engineer or partner at the published rate. For most UK SMEs that is cheaper than a local MSP retainer and more transparent than a 'contact us' quote.

📄

One contract, GDPR-aware

Contracts and invoices come from Brocent Cloud Service (Hong Kong) or Brocent Asia Cloud Service Pte. Ltd. in Singapore — you choose. Delivery accounts for UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018; data-processing terms are available for your DPO before you sign.

🕒

Your hours, not ours

The service desk runs follow-the-sun, so a London 9 am ticket is picked up in your working day. Debrief calls, change windows and reviews are booked in UK time.

🧰

On site only when it pays

Most UK incidents are resolved remotely. When a visit is needed — a server room, a new office, a hardware swap — a vetted local engineer attends at the published UK dispatch rate (US$143 first hour, US$109 per additional hour), billed after the job.

How UK clients are served

Coordinated from Warsaw, delivered remotely, dispatched locally

UK clients sign with Brocent's Hong Kong company or Singapore headquarters; the Warsaw EMEA Regional Service Centre, opened in April 2024, is the coordination point for delivery. There is no UK office.

Compliance

UK GDPR, DPA 2018 and Cyber Essentials

UK engagements are run with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 in mind, contracted through an EU entity with GDPR data-processing terms. The Microsoft 365 security audit maps findings to Cyber Essentials v3.3 technical requirements and to the questions cyber-insurance proposals ask. Managed IT plan pricing, add-ons and token packages are the same real numbers our consultants quote from — see the pricing pages for exact figures.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about IT support in the UK

Does Brocent have an office or legal entity in the UK? +
No. UK clients contract with Brocent's Hong Kong company or our Singapore headquarters, and delivery is coordinated from our Warsaw EMEA Regional Service Centre. We say this up front because it is the reason the price is lower than a UK MSP retainer.
Who actually turns up on site? +
A vetted local freelance engineer or partner company that Brocent scopes, dispatches and quality-checks. You raise the ticket with our service desk and receive one signed work report; the published UK rate is US$143 for the first hour and US$109 per additional hour.
What is the response time for UK clients? +
The same published SLA as every Brocent market: 15-minute first response on P1 incidents at any hour and remote work starting within 30 minutes. On-site visits are scheduled through the partner network, typically next business day or faster where a partner is nearby.
Can the Microsoft 365 security audit be used for Cyber Essentials? +
The report includes a Cyber Essentials v3.3 readiness table for the Microsoft 365 view and an insurer evidence pack, each row pointing to a dated export. It is evidence for your assessment; the certification body makes the decision.
In which currency are UK clients invoiced? +
Prices are published in US dollars and invoiced by the Hong Kong or Singapore entity you sign with; invoicing in HKD or SGD is available on request. Ask your consultant about GBP before signing — we do not promise it on this page.
