Managed IT plan, token pack, dispatch rate, or dedicated engineer?
Four ways to pay for the same engineers — the difference is how you commit, not the work itself.
Choose a Managed IT plan when…
- You want a fixed monthly fee per user, not per visit
- You raise issues weekly — 24/7 monitoring and patching come standard
- Best above ~4 tickets/month
Choose a token pack when…
- You'd rather prepay hours at a lower rate than pay per visit
- You need support across on-site, remote and after-hours from one balance
- Best for steady, occasional use
Choose a dispatch rate when… (this page)
- You need one visit, no prepayment — pay after the job
- You want a published USD rate, checkable across 42+ countries up front
- Best for a one-off or first-time need
Choose a dedicated engineer when…
- You need a full-time engineer on-site, not a visiting one
- You're staffing a campus HQ or another high-touch location
- Priced monthly, no backfill
Dispatch vs. dedicated engineer, roughly: at the entry-level rate (India: US$16/hr dispatch, US$624/mo FTE), a dedicated engineer breaks even around ~39 hours a month — about 10 hours a week — of support at one site. Below that, dispatch is usually cheaper; above it, a placement usually is.
Already know it's recurring, higher-volume support? A token pack or Managed IT plan is usually cheaper than paying dispatch rate every time.

A single, unpredictable need — not an ongoing plan. Four situations that come up constantly across our client base.
New gear lands in the data centre
A vendor ships a switch to your Shanghai colo and it needs racking, cabling and a smoke test before the maintenance window closes.
Typically 1 engineer, a few hours on-site, billed at the local dispatch rate.
New hires need a desk that works
Your Kuala Lumpur office hires three people this month — laptops need imaging and desks need to be wired before day one.
Typically a half-day visit covering all three seats, billed hourly.
Power drops in the server room
A breaker trips in your Bangkok server room overnight — you need an engineer standing by until power and every service confirm stable.
Typically billed at the after-hours multiple of the local dispatch rate.
A new storefront opens its doors
A retail unit opens in Causeway Bay and needs POS, WiFi and back-office IT confirmed live before doors open to customers.
Typically 1 engineer for opening day, billed hourly at the local dispatch rate.

Frequently asked questions
View all FAQs →What's the difference between a dispatch rate and a Token Service pack?
A dispatch rate is a straight per-visit USD price with no prepayment — you're billed after the job. A token pack is prepaid hours bought upfront at a lower effective rate, then drawn down as you use them. Occasional or first-time need → dispatch rate. Recurring, predictable need → tokens are usually cheaper.
Full answer in the FAQ centre →What is an on-site dispatch rate?
An indicative, fully-loaded hourly rate for sending an engineer to your site — published per country for Level 1 EUC support, next-business-day, standard 9×5 coverage. It covers a 1st-hour minimum plus travel within the metro/CBD area; each additional hour bills at a lower published rate.
Full answer in the FAQ centre →What is a dedicated engineer (FTE) placement?
A full-time, bilingual engineer assigned to one site under Brocent management — for campus HQs or high-touch locations that need a permanent on-site presence rather than per-visit dispatch. Priced monthly, scales by skill tier (L1–L3).
Full answer in the FAQ centre →Do dispatch and FTE rates get cheaper at volume?
Yes, significantly — fixed coordination overhead is shared across more work, so multi-site or multi-country programs price well below the single-ticket rates shown here.
Full answer in the FAQ centre →How does billing work for dispatch and FTE, since there's no prepayment?
Dispatch visits are billed after the job on standard 30-day credit terms, itemised by ticket. FTE placements are invoiced monthly in advance. Local tax invoices — fapiao, GST, HK-entity — are issued the same way as Token Service.
Full answer in the FAQ centre →Not sure which model fits your sites?
Tell a consultant your site count and how often you need hands on the ground — they'll size the right mix of plans, tokens and dispatch in one conversation. No pressure, no obligation.
