Why Brocent in Australia

Honest about the model: remote-first, partner-delivered on site

Brocent has no Australian legal entity or office. Australian clients contract with Brocent's Singapore headquarters or our Hong Kong company; delivery is coordinated from Singapore, which sits two to three hours behind the east coast — so your working day is covered live by our engineers, not by an overnight queue. Day-to-day managed IT is delivered remotely; when a visit is needed in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth we dispatch a certified local partner engineer at the published rate.

🕒

Live coverage in AEST

Singapore is UTC+8, Sydney UTC+10/11. A 9 am Sydney ticket is handled by an engineer at the start of their day, not routed to a night shift.

📄

APAC contract, Privacy Act aware

Contracts and invoices come from Brocent Asia Cloud Service Pte. Ltd. in Singapore or Brocent Cloud Service (Hong Kong) — you choose. Delivery accounts for the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles; data-handling terms are available before you sign.

🧰

On site only when it pays

Most incidents are resolved remotely. When a visit is needed — a server room, a new office, a hardware swap — a certified partner engineer attends at the published Australian dispatch rate (US$72 first hour, US$65 per additional hour), billed after the job.

How Australian clients are served

Coordinated from Singapore, delivered remotely, dispatched locally

Australian clients sign with Brocent's Singapore headquarters or Hong Kong company; Singapore is the coordination point for delivery. There is no Australian office.

Compliance

Privacy Act 1988, APPs and insurer evidence

Australian engagements are run with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles in mind. The Microsoft 365 security audit follows the CIS Microsoft 365 Benchmark; its MFA, admin-privilege and patching findings line up with Essential Eight controls and we can label them that way on request. Managed IT plan pricing, add-ons and token packages are the same real numbers our consultants quote from — see the pricing pages for exact figures.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about IT support in Australia

Does Brocent have an office or legal entity in Australia? +
No. Australian clients contract with Brocent's Singapore headquarters or our Hong Kong company, and Singapore coordinates delivery. We say this up front because it is the reason the price is lower than a local MSP retainer.
Who actually turns up on site? +
A certified partner engineer that Brocent scopes, dispatches and quality-checks, in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth. You raise the ticket with our service desk and receive one signed work report; the published Australian rate is US$72 for the first hour and US$65 per additional hour.
Are you available during Australian business hours? +
Yes. Singapore is two to three hours behind the east coast, so the whole AEST working day is covered live by engineers at their desks; 24×7 coverage is available for managed clients.
What is the response time for Australian clients? +
The same published SLA as every Brocent market: 15-minute first response on P1 incidents at any hour and remote work starting within 30 minutes. On-site visits are scheduled through the partner network, typically next business day.
In which currency are Australian clients invoiced? +
Prices are published in US dollars and invoiced by the Singapore or Hong Kong entity you sign with; invoicing in SGD or HKD is available on request. Ask your consultant about AUD before signing — we do not promise it on this page.
