Why Clients Choose Brocent
The Real Challenges in Office IT Setup
Opening a new office in Asia is complex. These are the four critical challenges clients face — and how Brocent addresses each one.
Short Lead Time — Office Opens, IT Must Be Ready
Office leases are fixed. When your move-in date is confirmed, IT infrastructure must be designed, procured, delivered, and commissioned in parallel with the fit-out — often in 4–8 weeks. Brocent's supply chain and project management experience means we work to your timeline, not the other way around.
✓ 4–8 week office setup timeline met in 120+ projectsProfessional Project Coordination & Management
An office IT setup involves 6–10 parallel workstreams: cabling contractor, hardware delivery, network configuration, cloud provisioning, AV installation, CCTV, door access, and ISP coordination. Without a dedicated IT project manager holding all threads, things fall between the cracks. Every Brocent office setup is assigned a certified PM who coordinates all workstreams and reports progress daily.
✓ Certified PM assigned to every project — PMP/PRINCE2Qualified Engineers Across Every Discipline
A new office requires expertise across structured cabling (ISO 11801 / EIA-568), IT infrastructure design, system migration, and professional installation. Generalists and handymen make expensive mistakes. Brocent deploys discipline-certified engineers for each component: RCDD-qualified cabling engineers, CCNA/CCNP-certified network engineers, manufacturer-certified AV technicians, and MCSE-certified cloud engineers.
✓ RCDD · CCNP · MCSE · Manufacturer-certified per disciplineGenuine Products Sourced Locally at Competitive Pricing
Grey-market hardware, counterfeit cabling, and unauthorised software licences create compliance risk, void warranties, and fail audits. Brocent sources all IT products — Cisco, Fortinet, HP, Dell, Microsoft, Logitech, Hikvision — through authorised local distributor channels in each APAC market, with full manufacturer warranties and verifiable serial numbers. Regional volume relationships deliver competitive pricing without compromising authenticity.
✓ Authorised distributor sourcing · Full manufacturer warrantyCredentials
Qualified Across Every Discipline
A complete office IT setup spans structured cabling, IT infrastructure design, system migration, AV installation, and ongoing IT support. Each discipline requires specialist qualifications. Brocent deploys certified engineers for every component — not generalists.

How It Works
Office IT Setup Process
Site Survey & Design
IT consultant visits the new office space. Floor plan reviewed for cabling routes, AV positions, server room layout, camera coverage, and door access points. High Level Design (HLD) and Bill of Materials (BoM) produced.
Proposal & Fixed-Price Quotation
Detailed fixed-price quotation with itemised hardware, installation costs, and project timeline. No hidden charges. Client approval triggers procurement and scheduling.
Procurement & Staging
Hardware ordered from authorised distributors with full manufacturer warranties. Equipment dispatched to Brocent's staging centre for pre-configuration, firmware update, and factory acceptance testing before site delivery.
Structured Cabling Installation
Certified cabling engineers install ISO 11801-compliant structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A), fibre, and power circuits. Every cable tested and certified with Fluke test results provided as documentation.
Active Equipment & Systems Installation
Network switches, firewall, Wi-Fi APs, servers, CCTV, door access, UPS, AV systems, and workstations all installed and commissioned in sequence. Each system validated before moving to the next.
UAT, Handover & Ongoing Support
Full User Acceptance Testing (UAT) signed off before handover. Comprehensive as-built documentation delivered. Brocent's SCC/FSS team then continues as the ongoing managed IT support partner.
